Header Help

Sorry, I know this is probably very elementary, but I can't sort it out. I'd just like a simple header on all pages with the menu on the same line. So far, I have figured out how to make a logo, but not unpin it so doesn't travel when you scroll down. Also, I can only put the menu below it. This all makes the homepage slideshow partially obscured.

Is there some kind soul who can clue me in? Many thanks!

You can add a text box or title box at the top next to your menu and put in whatever words you want. If you want more control over content you can do it in Photoshop as a jpeg. That way you can set up whatever font you want, include a small image etc. Then upload jpeg to your smug and insert a photo block instead of text. I did mine this morning for the white banner that reads 'Using light...' http://www.macromeister.co.uk/ You need to add whatever you use on 'entire site' if you want it on all pages of the site.

Thanks for your help, Rob! I tinkered around and also found that I needed to change the percent size of the content blocks, and then I could move more than one content block onto the same line.
