Google Webmaster Central Verification Problem

I've been attempting to use the HTML verification file provided by Google Webmaster Central. I must be missing something. Although I entered the code in the box provided at the SmugMug Account settings at the bottom of the page, when I hit the "verify" button on the Google Webmaster Central page, the result is: website not found, or code not found. Another message I get from the Google verification page is: "We weren't able to verify your site: http://coliwablphotography.smugmug.com/"

I have attempted verification multiple times without success. I will welcome some helpful ideas to resolve the problem.
