Gallery and Folder arrangement

Hi,

In my "portfolio" I have galleries and folders. The way I can display them is by adding a content block for gallery and then adding a content block for folders. The problem is:

I have 4 galleries (one gets bumped to 2nd row) and now the folder shows up below that - making the layout very awkward. Any solution to fix this?

Thank you.

I take it the issue is that gallery and folders are in separate areas.

There's an option under Navigation that I think may be new, not sure. It's called "Folders, Gallery and pages". This one appears to blend them into the same area instead of having separate blocks for gallery vs. folders. I haven't tried it to see how controllable it is (e.g. sorting, exclusion, etc.), but you might try using that instead of the individual blocks.

Ouch - I changed the folder structure - now my galleries says "Gallery is Empty"

    Any suggestion?

I can't see what's underneath your folder structure (or if I can I don't really know how). It either lets you chose a top folder, or select individual folders. Which did you do? Are they public (this would vary what you vs. someone else sees, so if it is empty for you it is not that).

    So here is what happened:

Thanks for contacting SmugMug. It looks like we pushed out a change yesterday which is affecting images collected from passworded galleries. This is the reason those images are not displaying when not logged in. There is some debate about the intent of this feature and the recent change (collecting from passworded galleries), as we have allowed this in the past, but that doesn't seem to be the case any longer. This is something we're looking into at the moment.

If anyone thinks this is an important feature please vote:
