Need help - cannot upload photos

I think I have an old legacy account. I am not very technically savvy, but I had learned how to do what I want to do - just upload photos for safe keeping and so my children have access to them for years to come.

I went on last night to upload and I cannot. It gives me an error message or it just freezes up and nothing happens. I have shut down my computer. I have tried 20 or more times, it will not upload.

What happened with the new changes and is that why I can't function on smugmug any more?

I loved the customer service. A hero would answer every stupid question I had. Now, I am not getting any response at all. Is there another service for photo storage that someone would like to recommend and is there an easy way to transfer all of my photos (there are 1000s) to another site?

Another thing to try is a different browser -- Firefox or Chrome.

It's deplorable that you're having such problems and not getting help. In the meantime, if you could copy the error message & print it here, that MAY help. Otherwise, I'd do as someone else suggested & try a different browser if you have one. Also, there are still (I think) at least 3 different uploading methods on SmugMug. I forget how you access them, & will check. I think it says "Try a different uploader?" and you click on that & choose another one. (HTML 5, or Simple Uploader, etc.) It's possible that may work. One bad thing is that the Uploader doesn't even tell you which one you're currently using. I've been asking them to change that for years, but they still haven't. So you can only guess. Good Luck!
