Constitutional Light

Hey folks!

Here's a simple scene from Mount Constitution, on Orcas Island, Washington. I didn't have much time to explore this little glen, but the lighting was really nice, and I managed to snag a keeper (or what I feel is one, at least) in the few minutes I had. I think it's the simplicity of this scene that appeals to me, and oddly that might have been helped by my hurried mindset. Hope you like it!

It's nice, and well done, but it just doesn't grab me. I think it's the tree in front on the left, it just breaks up whatever flow the scene might have had. You didn't have a chainsaw on you?

I like it a lot and the light centers the eye on the subject, the light.

I think light was harsh here so much harder to handle it.

I really like it. I like the accentuation of the foreground and I really like the stripes. They draw me in.

    Nice shot.

I like it. My wife just walked by and said she did too. I keep feeling a strong impulse to see it in black and white, with the sky in the background darkened, so all attention is directed to the pool of light in the foreground.
