Custom border within slideshow

I am about to convert my web site to the new format; however before I do it wanted to see if anyone knows how to use a custom (photo) border within the new slide show.
My current web site (mhcooperphotography.snugmug.com) uses the Jfriend HTML5 Java as well as other CSS and HTML customizations for a homepage slideshow and other customizations. I have been reading several of the forum entries and I am pretty sure I can figure out the NAV and Logo parts. I might change the NAV to a more standard Smugmug type but will have to wait to see what happens.
The reason for this post is my slideshow on the home page. I create this by using a photo (the film negative) and then put the slide show in the middle. Everything fits because I create each image with the exact same size. Does anyone know how, or have created a slideshow, that has a photo as the background and then put ... in a fixed location ... a set of photos.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Anyone know if you can put a background image just on your home page?
Thanks

I guess they got caught off guard with the amount of people that wanted the new style. I'm not really sure if the code will work though.
