Procedure for arranging homepage photos around

I'm trying to figure out how to arrange my homepage photos around. Does anybody have a method to do this?

It's hard to know what you're asking without knowing what is on your homepage.

Ah - you selected the photos individually by clicking on them? Unfortunately I believe the photos selected like that are shown in the order in which they were selected. There isn't currently any way to rearrange them. The only way I'm aware of to change the order is to remove the photos from the box and re-select them in the order you're like to see them. Yes, that's painful...

There are at least two feature requests logged for this:

• Homepage collage: be able to sort Photos I choose
• ability to change order of galleries in multiple galleries page element

Can't help you with the arrangement, but you spelled "Nisqually National Wildlife Refuse" wrong. Should be Refuge. Also, I'm going to have to show your Owl pictures to my youngest daughter. She loves Owls!

Bummer there isn't an easier way. Thanks Mike for pointing out my spelling error - it should be fixed now.

You can try to put all of the images into one gallery. Then select the gallery for the multi-image display on the homepage. If they are in one gallery then through the organizer you can sort by date uploaded, modified, taken, filename, caption or manually.

This seems like a miss by the Smugmug team. There should be a way to either randomize the photos or sort the order of the images I select for the home page. You can view the images that you have chosen, and then select or un-select them from showing, but that's it. You can't replace the photo you un-selected with another, it'll just end up at the bottom. A little drag and drop would be helpful there.
