Adding background image

When I add one of my images as a background photo it doesn't fil the whole screen like those provided by SmugMug do - what am I doing wrong or how do I achieve this?

You need to alter the background in the theme. Customize site/theme/active theme.....click on spanner and choose background.

Thanks but that's exactly what I did and the image doesn't fill the page:(

Edit:-And on the Background tab set 'scale' to 'fill'.
