Anyway to get back to as it was?

I'm sure it's been asked but I can't see it, how do I get rid of the new screen and get my page to open as it used to. I asked support and they say I have to go into Options and clear cache. Do I have to do that every time? I'm sure the new additions will be of interest to many, but I haven't the interest or the skill or the time to change hundreds of photos.
