Feature request - edit Gallery description

I had no idea where to put this - feel free to move as necessary (or direct me to a dedicated request thread/mailbox)

I put notes and instructions to my clients in the "description" box for their gallery - is there a way to give it its own "edit" button so you can go straight to it (as you could in legacy, where it was at the top of the first gallery page) instead of going through the organize/gallery/settings dialogs? Also, it would be nice to be able to see it - the current text-entry box is small and you can't see what you've written displayed in full until you exit "organize" and go back to the gallery itself.
