How do I center gallery thumbnails in a galleries content box?

In the "my work" page on my navbar, I have added a galleries content box with 1x3 aspect ratio for the thumbnails. I love the look, but the thumbnails are left justified. I'd like to center these on the page how can I do this? Note, the content box is centered (it's set to 100 width and stretchy) but inside the box the thumbnails don't center.

You weren't able to center gallery thumbs in legacy smugmug and as far as I know there isn't a way to do this in the new smugmug either. I think the best you can do is to size the box containing the thumbs so that only a specified number fit across. That means you potentially have a very small box on a large monitor though.
