Contact List organization

One thing I have been thinking about for years is why Smugmug doesn't have any contact list organization tools. I didn't know about the new Smugmug rollout... but I was hoping that with any sort of update, Smugmug would allow me to group contacts that I frequently e-mail my galleries to specific groups and subgroups of family and friends.

I would love to be able to organize my growing list of contacts and group them according to family, friends, clients, organizations, etc... Then when I send and e-mail, I wouldn't have to add recipients individually.

or Perhaps this feature exists. Am I missing something?
