Gallery Page Help

Hi. Yesterday I created a page for my galleries and folders. When I clicked "preview", I could see all my galleries and folders. Today, I was just editing my theme, and now when I click "preview" my gallery page just shows my galleries. My folders don't show up. However, if I click the all folders button in the customizer area my galleries and folders show up. What is going on? Also, when I click to edit my gallery page, the folder content is empty- is says no folders found. It worked yesterday. What did I do? I do have checked off "select from current location" in the folder settings. They do show up on my website just fine. I would just like to know the answer to this.
