Help with a custom created gallery page

I redesigned my custom gallery page this morning adding the folders, galleries, pages content box from the navigation section. My question is this, my gallery page is showing up now that I published my site. How do I hide it? The gallery link in the menu bar links to this page that is showing up on my gallery page. I did go into the setting for the galleries, folders and pages content box and where it says "select from" I chose "items I choose" and selected the items that I wanted. I did NOT select the gallery page. If I make the gallery page unlisted then it shows up in the menu bar as "gallery (unlisted)". So how do I hide this page from showing up to everyone. The gallery page is also not listed on the All Folders page either. Don't know if that makes a difference.

Hi Karen,

If you just remove the Galleries link from the navigation bar, no one will be able to go to it. I think this is what you are asking? If not, could you include some screenshots explaining what isn't working?

I got it fixed a little while ago. I don't want to remove the galleries link from the menu bar as it links to my gallery page that I created. It was this gallery page that was showing up in the content box. Apparently, I didn't publish changes. I thought I did. Thanks for getting back to me.
