Contact form tosgenerate separate page or event in Google Analytics

Would it be possible to have the built in Contact Me pop up form generate it's own event or page in Google Analyics so we can set it up as a goal? I know that it is possible to create a WuFoo based html page but that involves another level of complexity and another login. I'm helping someone build a site (something I would never have attempted in legacy SM) and as much as possible I have to keep it simple.
