General Pricing Practices y'all are using

Probably a discussion somewhere on how folks are utilizing the pricing structures.

For instance, using PROFITS, you can select a percentage. I am looking for guidelines of what others are using that seems successful to them. 100%, 200% more? Do you just set the default for all or change up for different areas - like prints at one level, the stuff like shirts and mugs at a different level? Also, I know we can set a default and then make a change on individual galleries.

I know this is hard cause there are so many different types of photographers here. A Fine Arts person will probably set a higher percentage than a Documentist and a general snapshooter will be lower than others. Anyway, would like to get a feel for how others are doing this.

And for downloads - I don't get how that is setup. A .3M pixel goes the same as an original size. So, we need to go there and make a change for each size there - right? Seems I have had 3 Commercial Downloads which I think sold for $1.00 each! Ouch....my bad for not getting control over this earlier.

Anyone want to offer some advice? Or point me to where this is being discussed?:dunno
