Another Night Shot

Here is a photo of Grace Cathedral in San Francisco taken from The Top of the Mark. Given that it was hand held at 0.3 seconds, I am pleased with the result. Taken in RAW with the 17-85 mm lens that came with the 20D at ISO 3200 f 5.0. I used both Focus Magic and Neat Image in post.

    You held it well, and I don't see any noise, but it looks nice and sharp to me.

    Thanks, Ginger. That stablized lens is a joy. There was quite a lot of noise in the original photo but I was able to reduce it significantly with Neat Image. I have been surprised at how nice some of the night shots can look taken at ISO 3200.
