Slideshow in New Smugmug problem

Hi,

I am noticing a very weird problem in the Slideshow feature of the new Smugmug. I have a 16:10 aspect ratio monitor and have mostly 16:9 aspect ratio images.

I notice that when I start the slideshow the first image is centered on the page correctly with black bars on the top and bottom of the picture. The second and the subsequent images in the slideshow have black bars only at the top (and it is twice as high as the top blackbar on the first image in the slideshow).

Does anyone else also have this problem?

I am using latest Chrome on Windows 8 if that is relevant.

Thanks,
Osho

    Hi Osho,

Please include a link to your SM site. It is hard for us to trouble shoot without seeing what you are seeing thumb.gif

My site has a site-wide password - so giving a link here will not be useful unfortunately.

Here is an example gallery: http://stuckincustoms.smugmug.com/Portfolio/i-kVGPDk7

If I click on slideshow on this page (using Chrome on Windows 8 with a monitor resolution of 1920x1200), I get the following:

    * the first image fills the full 1920x1200 resolution. This is good.
    * The second image has black bars on left and right.. This is good too.
    * The third, fourth, fifth & sixth images have a black bar only on the top.

What is weird is that if at this point I click on the "<" button to go back to previous images and go back to the first image, I now see black bar at the top in the first image.

Hmmmm, yes I see that in your video, but everything works for me. This may take some time to troubleshoot, as I will need to test on a Windows laptop.
