how to label 'close' in SM slide show

Request help with this:

How do I change the 'X' in slide show to the text "Close"?
How to color the word Close black?

This will add Close after the X.

Thanks for your help. I already have that css in my galleries css and it works in IE10 but not in my FF23. I placed it in galleries css and theme css. No go.
Pretty fussy, this SM.

I have it in a CSS box in All Galleries and it's working in FF23, IE10, Safari 5.1.7, Chrome 29.
