Hi
I am setting up my gallery to display in collage landscape. For one of my galleries I have added description for each photo. When it displays it is putting the description underneath the photo in collage display. How do I remove the description from the collage display so that only the photo appears?
I have tried looking for a parameter to use blocks/settings but cannot find it.
Thanks and I look forward to your reply.

This seems to get rid of descriptions in Collage Landscape:
Stick it in a CSS block.
Be aware that I'm a code-cribber not a coder
I just looked at your site and couldn't see any Collage Landscape galleries. Have you changed things or did you mean Collage Portrait?
Attaching screenshot of what I am seeing now.
The descr underneath photo is what I want to get rid of.
Thanks and I look forward to your reply.

Ah, as per my observation in the last line of my previous post, that's not Collage Landscape, it's Collage Portrait. The code that I posted won't work on that.
Hi Beardedgit,
Thanks for your reply. I discovered that when I went to Organize and looked up the gallery, it had set to Collage Portrait. So you were right. I was not looking there but in the settings for all galleries. So I get the gallery setting in Organize overrides the overall Gallery settings. So thanks for that CSS code.
Which leads me to this question. Is it possible to have Smugmug default all galleries to Collage Landscape without going into each gallery in Organize?
Thanks and I look forward to your reply.

For getting rid of the info under the pics, try:
Go to Customize > Customize site > All Galleries, drag a CSS content block across (if there's not one there already) and paste the code into it.
Found it! It was down the back of the sofa!
Customize > Customize site, look in the green bar at the top for a "Settings" button, click it, choose a site-wide gallery style in the settings box that pops up.
Hope that helps.
