Watermarking: If I don't remove will they show up on downloads?

Ok, I'm downgrading. I have a lot of galleries. I want to keep them until I know they are all backed up on carbonite. Should I downgrade and not have a gallery unwatermarked, will the watermarks come down in a batch download? ie. If I find I have a gallery no longer on my computer due to a crash or mishap and I download it, will it have watermarks?

I sincerely hope the gallery download is still available after downgrading.

"Originals" do not have a watermark. Only the display copies that Smugmug generates have the watermark.

You will still have the ability to download individual photos, or entire galleries at once (in full, original resolution, sans-watermark) with any account level. If you are downgrading to the Power account, I'd probably recommend removing the watermarks first before you downgrade, mainly because you would no longer have access to the watermarking tool to make changes later. Though it wouldn't hurt anything to leave them in place if you don't mind being stuck with those watermarks on those images.
