I just got the business account with smugmug. I notice that the web address is www.myname.smugmug.com
How do you get an address with just your site name on it without the smugmug in the addresss?

You can add a custom domain name if you would like. You can get one here: www.smugmugdomains.com , this will come set up to go. Just add it to your SmugMug Account Settings on the Me > Account Page.
