So what is the official word?

I just got an email from a fellow SM'er who was asking about the migration process. He said he was told by SM (via e-mail conversation) that he did not have to migrate. :scratch When the NEW SM was 1st introduced no time line was given as to when legacy site had to be converted, but it was stated that they would need to be converted at some point.
Anyone know when that point is?:dunno
I'm already migrated... just trying to clarify so I don't pass on bad info.

What was probably missed somewhere in translation is that he doesn't have to migrate NOW. Eventually everyone has to migrate to the New SmugMug, but we do not have a date for that yet. That is and has been the official word since day 1 of New SmugMug .
