Clouds

This was taken on Monday before sunrise. I wish I knew more about clouds. I'd never seen this kind of circular cloud formation.

    Amazing formation and colors, Don. Any chance some of that was smoke?

    Joel, I'm pretty sure no fire was involved. There weren't any nearby. It must have been something odd in the air currents up above.

    Another nice one Don. Great color. I'll take a guess on the clouds: alto cumulus above, probably moving with upper level currents. The cumulus & strata near the mountains are lower and appear more stable with the sun not catching them yet.
