A sunrise from the weekend

I was out of town for a wedding on the weekend (Barwon Heads for any locals), and had the opportunity to get out early on Sunday for a few shots, much to the surprise of my wife, who knew I drank far too much red wine the night before icon10.gif

    The second shot is nice. The first is WOW!

    Beautiful dark blue sky, perfect shadow detail, balanced exposure. I wish the horizon weren't right in the center but I can't really see a different crop either. Losing anything from the top or bottom would mean losing a nice component of the shot. Well done.

    Thanks for your comments. I totally agree with the centering....i was so annoyed with myself when I started processing my shots. But I am still very happy with the results.

    I am really looking forward to getting the ND grads I have ordered.

    Daniel, these shots were taken around 6am (Australian Eastern Day Savings Time). Being not sure if this will be a big help since ur in the northern hemisphere.
