I created a new page and added a "Comments block"

It just shows "0 Comments"

How do I get them to show?

Click the wrench in the new comment box. There's a place to browse to the legacy gallery.
It would then suck in those existing comments.

I've tried that, the only choices I get are my current Folders/Pages/galleries (I've tried them all). I don't see any options for legacy.

My gallery comments came over automatically and formatting correctly with my new fonts. Including my all time fav:

    yyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyoooooooooooooooooooooooouuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu sssssssssssssssssssssssssssssuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuccccccccccccccckkkkkkkkkkkkkkk
    sssssssssssssoooooooooooooooooo mmmmmmmmmmmmuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuucccccccccccccccccccchhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

I had the same issue. I got some advice from Ann McRae to put the comment block on the entire site and it worked.

I didn't care for the look of it as I ended up with two comment blocks on the galleries. The photo comments came across during the initial migration with no problem and populated the default comment block under the gallery image. I decided to keep those comments and abandon the old gallery comments.

That didn't work, just put two comment blocks with 0 comments
