space around images within gallery

I have transitioned to the new Smug and made it live, and I'm mostly happy with it. But there is one thing I can't figure out, which is how to adjust the space between/around images within the galleries--that is, the last level where we see the actual photos in the gallery. I can see how to do this for the browse/folders page, and for the gallery thumbnails within folders.
I am using the Collage Landscape Layout.
If it helps, here is my content organization: on "Entire Site" I have logo, menu, and separator.
On "Homepage" I have multiple photos.
On "All Folders" I have breadcrumbs, folders, and galleries (and I edit the latter two to adjust margins between/around the thumbnails for each).
On "All Galleries" I have breadcrumbs.
Thanks,
Bob

There is a css workaround that leaves ragged edges:

I am using it to reduce the margins to 6 px even though, as mentioned in the thread, it gives me ragged right edges. Small price to pay.
Thanks,
