I am pretty certain that its a little owl but i am open to suggestions
I suggest it's a hawk, but I don't know the European species. In any case, it is definitely not an owl, and definitely not the European Little Owl (Athene noctua), which has a very distinctly different appearance.
More precisely it's an "accipiter". On this side of the pond it could be a Cooper's or Sharp-shinned Hawk.
They prey on small birds and drive the birds at my feeders crazy.
Nice capture.
