Background Colors or themes in Smug Style Galleries

I haven't begun any migrating but have been looking around at others' New SmugMug sites just to try to get a feel for the thing. I'm very curious -- are there no color choices available for SmugMug-Style Gallery backgrounds (and everything else in galleries such as fonts & bars or borders) in the New Smug? I can't recall seeing one SmugMug style gallery yet that has any color besides that same-old, same-old, charcoal-grey that seems to be everywhere in New Smug. I'm so sick of that non-color by now... and I really don't want it in every single one of my hundreds of galleries when I switch. Yuck.
I'd hoped there would be various styles whose look could then be changed at will by simply changing the colors ourselves & fonts ourselves. I don't know, maybe everyone else is thrilled with seeing every single site in charcoal grey, but seeing that it's that way has scared me into thinking there's no way to change it in gallery backgrounds.

Also what I'm wondering is if colors are tied to certain styles / themes so that you're stuck with certain colors if you like certain themes... I've always wished we could choose a theme and then separately choose a color. I can do some of that with CSS now, in Legacy, but it's cumbersome.
