It's good that SM now allows and shows alt and title tags.
Now we just need some user-control. Some of my tags are huge, because SM has set the tag text equal to the photo caption (when there's no photo title).

I'd suggest that Organize > Gallery Tools > Edit > Captions & Keywords would be a good place to put the controls, especially in light of other requests for the Captions & Keywords editor to be updated to include Titles.
