I get to see our pair of Bald Eagles at the local lake in New Jersey do stunning flybys every so often, but only once in a very, very great while am I actually there for something like this. I'm still thrilled!

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Thanks so much, Harry and Jeff, for the very kind claps! I know the images are not close to Audubon quality, but given that I only had my 300 f5.6 with me and it was just before sunset, I'm grateful to have a record of such a spectacular sighting!

    Best wishes,

Hi Pacificklaus and Pam! many thanks for your kind comments! I'm still thrilled to have seen this in the wild state of New Jersey... :). I'll remember this one for a long time.

    Best wishes,

    Pear
