Iphone cases???

Does SmugMug offer Iphone/Galaxy cases in their products to offer our customers? I can't find them anywhere and I would sure like to offer them for sale. Thanks!

If we offered every product that EZ Prints, Bay Photo, WHCC and Loxley offer then our product list would be a mile long and way too confusing to navigate. We are always open to adding more items from our print labs. You can leave your suggestion here on Dgrin or better yet our Feedback page.

Well Zac, your mind is clearly closed, and those "suggestion" forums are black holes. I guess I can take comfort in the fact that iPhones aren't that popular.

If you offered every product that all those labs offered, it would not make your product list a mile long, because our customers only see the product list of our gallery's specified lab. Besides, the product list is already pretty long anyway, so I think we are well past the point of having "simple" product lists.

My mind isn't closed, I think it would be great if we could offer phone cases. In fact I have an iPhone, have for 5 years

. And if I want to buy a case right now I can do it right through the Bay Photo ROES. We can't just magically click a button for you and add the product you want but I wish I could! The process is much more involved than that.

We are always adding batches of new products. Please add your votes to the feedback page so that our product managers can gauge the interest.

I ran out of votes for that Feedback website, since 2010 only one item I voted for has been implemented. Maybe we should receive a new allocation of votes every couple of years. Or let us know when it's hopeless so we can withdraw our votes.

I just thought you guys would like to let us offer something that a lot of people on this planet own. I also thought that the product list could use a good purge. I guess I was wrong to think that. Call me crazy but I think a lot of us could sell quite a few more phone cases than say keepsake boxes, luggage tags, mahogany desk organizers, photo aprons, etc. but that's just a guess on my part. Think about it.

I thought the reason that great Price List Apocalypse was done a few years back, was to allow more and better products to be added fast. Allowing the Pros' also to have certains specials passed along from the labs to us. I have really not scene that many prodcuts offered other than prints and no specials passed along to me via email. Adding iPhone cases should not be a vote for item, it should be I am sorry we don't have it we will get right on that..

Besides thare is a certain Irony with Baldy's blog post a while back waiting in line to buy an iphone and ipad so they could keep up with technology and programing for the latest and greatest products.. Then not offereing Iphone cases for sale by your Pro's.. Come on guys quit making us beg it is not becoming..

What's been added to the "Keepsake-Merchandise" line up since you posted the above which was on Sept. 13, 2013. I'd sure like to sell iPhone cases! That whole product line needs a serious revamp.

I agree, this shouldn't require a vote, it should have been already done.. Sometimes I just wonder why we have to keep begging for things the labs have had for years..

I asked for this about a year and a half ago and now I brought it up again. Done asking and voting, etc.. To make a long story short the clock is ticking for any more of my business and I am sure many more feel the same way. That "merchandise" needs a serious upgrade and they know it. Since most of the planet owns an iPhone I would also say I have a better chance of selling an iPhone case to someone rather than say a BBQ apron or some of the other "merchandise" offered.

Just throwing this out. Apple has sold 73 million iPhones since 2007. Samsung has sold over 200 million Galaxy S. Don't you guys want in on some of that action?

Just heard this story watching the news. "Record iPhone Sales Drive Blowout Quarter for Apple"
Apple said Tuesday that it sold 74.5 million iPhones during the three months that ended Dec. 31, beating analysts' expectations for the latest models of Apple's most popular gadget, introduced in September.

I/we had 0 sales of cases because I/we can't offer it. Just sayin'!

You guys give this any more thought to a serious update on your merchandise line? I originally asked back in September of 2013 and then again around December of 2014 about phone cases but I don't come around here much anymore.. Just wondering. Thanks.

There's currently no update to your suggestion. If we do add phone cases to our merchandise offering, we'd be sure to let our Pros know.
