New SM on iPhone is a mess!

Just checked my very simply constructed site on an iPhone and it's a complete mess. Was this tested properly before the roll out? I try to open a main gallery containing 300 images, and get the message "Gallery is Empty"....my images are inaccessible. The collapse for mobile menu doesn't work at all, ruining any formatting. And that sure isn't the font I selected either. Anyone else run into this? What do we do? Given the prevalence of smartphones, you'd think this would be a priority for SM...

The sites I've looked at look ok on a phone as well but it can depend on a whole bunch of things. Could you post up the specific gallery you are having issues with and then other folks can look at it as well. Also do you have any customisations? For example not all browsers support all fonts and sometimes a browser will pick a font that is close. Did you try for example viewing the site using a different browser on your phone (I know that your users won't do this but it may give you a clue as to where the issues are)

    good luck

Works fine on my iPhone 5. The font is also matching the full web version. Can you share some screenshots of anything specific? All the galleries load as well.

    Thanks!

Thanks to everyone for looking into this! I'm using an iPhone4, and Safari. I don't know how to get screenshots of the errors from my phone to the forum, but one of the galleries that gets the empty error is http://peargrin.smugmug.com/Nature/All . I'm glad everyone else seems to be able to see the gallery, but I can't. I've marked the menu as "Collapse on Mobile", but it shows up as a centered list below my logo. Not sure how to proceed...

It's a bit tricky now because no-one else is quite seeing what you are so you are into debugging. If it were me I would:
    1. Find a friend with an iPhone and check on theirs as well
    2. Install a second browser on my own phone (e.g. Chrome) and make sure that I am seeing the same thing on the second browser.

Neither of these will solve the problem but they both give clues to what is going on that may help track it down

    Good luck

Take a look at this thread
Take a look at my previous thread.

    http://www.dgrin.com/showthread.php?t=240419

The empty gallery issue for me was related to the security settings...In my case after touching the settings a second time my iphone started to see the photos in these galleries. I was also using an iphone 4S. Prior to fixing the issue you could see the images on ipads, other browsers etc, just nothing on the iphone. I did not try an iphone 5, I hope the answer isn't that you need to use the latest "supported" iphone which seems to be the answer every time I ask about issues with IE8 (which by the way seems to have the largest market share of all of the IE browsers...)

    Good luck,
