email upload does not work with multiple recipients

I've been puzzled for a while now. I'm experiencing the following problem-

When xxx@mail.smugmug.com is the only recipient, email upload works.
When I have multiple recipients in the TO:, CC: or BCC: (ie. wife, friends) email upload does not work. The worse thing is that Smugmug does not generate a bounce email or error message. You think it worked but all your images are lost in dark. Other recipients in TO: or CC: received pics fine. I've got a lot nice pics did not get saved on Smugmug while I thought they would have. :cry

    The email upload should be a solo thing. No other recipients, just yournickname@email.smugmug.com. We'll see if we can get the help page updated to add more details.

    Maybe just me, I take and share photos taken by my smart phone all the time. I don't see why Smugmug wouldn't allow you CC: other people when sending it to Smugmug. I don't mind sending it twice, just wasting my 4G data usage and a few more seconds of my time. Strange limitation though.
