Here's something relevant to the case sensitivity discussion...
Usually if I post a link to our Facebook page, it gets "crawled" by Facebook immediately.
This time, I posted a link to a "Page" on my SM site.
In Statcounter, I can see FB crawling the page, but it looks like the attached image below. (It goes to my 404 page instead.)
If I click the link in FB, it works fine. But FB's spiders or whatever are clearly changing everything to lowercase (I clicked the link in statcounter and that is indeed what has happened) and then the link doesn't work or get crawled.

I'm curious, can you provide a few more details about this? Did you share the page using one of SmugMug's tools or did you cut and paste the URL (or type it) into Facebook?
