A Spider & Hornet

I thought I'd share a shot of a spider dispatching a hornet. I shot this using an old EF 100mm f/2.8 (the non-usm) lens. It's got a very noisy and slow motor, but I always use it in manual so it doesn't matter as much to me. I like the clarity of this particular lens, and the "built in hood" feature is sort of nice.

Naturally this is a slightly fuzzy photo as it's a reduced size. If you click it, you can then choose to see it on x3-Large.

Thanks! It was all by chance. I was sitting on the stoop, playing with my toddler when I heard the hornet get caught in the web. I ran inside, grabbed the gear, and started poking around in the mint patch until I found them.
