Yet another selection inc. another new hover to my garden (I think)

Technically, not a great shot (slightly oof and with harsh light) however it was the only capture I got before this ichneumon wasp escaped the threads of a spider web so was unable to make any exposure adjustments. The spider was there but I think decided not to move in. I have to say the eye shape really does make it look like those typical "area 51" aliens
Another new hoverfly spotted in my garden. I believe this to be Baccha Elongata (Female). This particular hover gracefully hovered from flower to flower, occasionally alighting on our ferns. I did attempt to coax it onto my hand but it was not interested. A particularly delicate little hover.
More Honey bees (one with a rather nasty looking mass next to it on the Sedum)
Finally, this fly, which I'm not quite sure of the species. Size was about 5mm in length.

Last fly shot is a signal fly - Sepsidae - possibly Sepsis fulgens. Looks like it's carrying 2 mites

Now it makes sense with the Sepsid fly. I though it looked like one but didn't catch the fact the orange bits were mites (guess that's where tubes and stacking or an MPE would have helped me )
