    Great vantage point. I can't decide if the marine layer helps by blurring the background, or not. I'm leaning towards not. I think you should try this once the marine layer dies, so you have a really strong contrast between the point source lights in the background and the blur of motion in the foreground. (and maybe over the winter when the grass comes back to life ;)

    Thanks.

    Most of what you see on the left is the light pollution from the Port of LA. I'll try a shorter exposure next time. Maybe during spring!

    Yeah, but without the marine layer, the port'll be more a collection of point source lights.
