This poor tiger moth caterpillar was sheltering on the inside of a dead leaf that had fallen between the other leaves of the Leycesteria this evening. I lifted the leaf and placed it indoors to get out of the wind, then went for the eyeballs! You can se it's head is covered in dozens of raindrops from this afternoons downpouring of rain.
