Zombies in Halifax Nova Scotia - 2013
This is the second year that I was able to capture the Zombies in Halifax, N.S., Canada on their yearly walk. It keeps growing year after year. We happened to have 2 big cruise ships in the harbour at the same time as the walk. Usually, the cruises are made up of "more" elderly folk - many of them joined a few double decker buses and travelled on the same streets as the Zombies.
When stopped at a red light, the zombies raised their arms and spread their fingers and nails along the windows of the bus screaming and howling as they tried to get into the windows. Usually, men allow their wife or partners next to the windows so they get the best view..... not a good idea on this particular situation. The women had their backs arched so strong and away from the windows, their partners fell off their seats while the howling was taking place. I was laughing so hard that I could not get the camera in focus to capture the situation.
In another situation, chainsaw man pulled the cord on his weapon and revved his weapon (no chain on saw) in front of 6 Asian crew members who were standing on a street that sloped down towards the harbour. I've never seen 6 people jump back in unison and catch each other from falling down the street when chain saw man raised his weapon in front of them. They had no idea Halifax was hosting a Zombie walk. Again, I was doubled over in laugher that I missed the pic. The crew are shown in the last pic
