Morning,

I have been using StarExplorer as uploader to SmugMug but it does not yet support new SmugMug.
Also I am unable to use the Smugmug built-in uploader, can not drag/drop to it, from the photo manager I use.

Can someone suggest me one (or a few) external uploader utilities that works with new Smugmug, thanks

Regards, Harald

What "Photo Manager" do you use?

Harald I also experienced some issues in the new SM with the built-in uploader, that it seemed to 'forget' that I was logged in and then when I tried to upload, I would get some extraneous message (I can't remember now what exactly it said).

The work around that I found, was to force a login (I used to go into my account settings) and then back into the site itself. Having gone through this extra step, I found that I could hapily upload via the built-in uploader.

This might not be anything to do with your issue, but might be worth a try. FWIW I still experience this issue from time to time and the login trick works every time for me.

I have never used the builtin uploader before. Ony reason to try it now was that StarExplorer isn't availale for new SmugMug yet.
And I prefer a utility where I can create Gallaries at the same time. This I could with SE and it seems that Komodo also has these facilities.

But it would be good to have a few more to chose from. And it must work with new SmugMug. The lack of such a utility is the main reason why I have not yet migrated.

    Regards, Harald

There's also Send to SmugMug, but the latest incarnation is picky about operating systems: http://www.shahine.com/garage/software/send-to-smugmug/

It also doesn't work if you have a Portfolio level account, it fails on the login process. The developer knows about it, and will be fixed in next release, but I am lost in the meantime, hehe. I totally rely on that program, which is actually a compliment :)

Before it was updated to cope with New SM, StS was XP-compatible. The new StS isn't.
