Just a frivolous question...

If New SM is so awesome, why is DGrin still sticking with Legacy?

(Click any of the thumbnails in the DGrin header at the top of this page and you'll see what I mean).

I'd have thought that being seen to be "leading from the front" would be a good way of demonstrating support for the new regime :scratch
Yippee ki-yay, footer-muckers!

Another frivolous question .......... you don't happen to be retired do you? You have waaaaaaay too much time on your hands! :D

Why not go outside and actually take some photographs and take a break from all this sniping and bitterness, it's obviously really eating you up inside! It's a lovely time of the year for landscape photography - go and do something you enjoy instead for pity's sake!

Beadedit, Dgrin is run and administered by volunteers from the community. Hey, here's an idea, post this over in Dgrin Forum Support forum, and you could volunteer to change over the http://dgrin.smugmug.com site clap.gif

    +1
My opinion does not necessarily make it true. What you do with my opinion is entirely up to you.

No, not retired. Currently unable to work due to NHS-induced incapacity. No choice about the time on my hands until they fix what they caused.

I refer the honourable gentleman to the answer above.

I thought it was a fair question, no sniping or bitterness intended.

It's also a lovely time of year for astrophotography. You've no idea how much I miss being able to do, let alone enjoy, either of those things.

Laughing.gif - A fair suggestion, but I doubt they'd relish the prospect of having such a loose cannon on board rolleyes1.gif

Take it from someone who had 5 years out of circulation due to illness from ages 26 to 31, the last two years being due to a botched operation (gotta love the NHS!) - you have to keep busy with many things as it is easy to become fixated on (given the larger picture) minor things especially when you have a computer!

You can't do any photography at all at the moment? Some of the shots on your site are quite recent.

Ouch. Only almost 2 years (so far) for me.
I love the NHS, I'd like to caress it... with a chainsaw.

    Recently uploaded, not recently taken.

Anyway, I didn't come here pining for sympathy. Gotta go - If I'm gonna apply for the job that Andy suggested, I have to concoct a CV and send it to Mr. Bonocore :D

Well they did kind of save my life at the same time so I will forgive them the last little (massive) slip up :splat

NHS... Let's see... here, it's the National Honor Society. Ya know, a group we may try to get into in High School in order to get lots of brownie points for college... or we get the brownie points first, then that helps us get into the NHS. Ohhhhh, I see.... probably the National Health Service, huh? Now don't you guys start giving us the idea that governments can't do anything right. rolleyes1.gif Now really. PS, it's funny you mention the thumbs up there. I was just thinking yesterday, "Haven't I seen those same thumbs forever?"
