New Smug - how to delete and start over and other

First, I think the new designs are wonderful! However, I made a total mess of my first try, for instance, the photos on the ONLY gallery I was trying to change (name of gallery: "manuel"), are now the home page photos.

Question: How do I completely DELETE everything I have done so far and start over?

2nd Question: I think that each gallery can be designed by itself, is that correct?

Thanks for your answer...hopefully, soon; I am anxious to get the new look up and going.

Create a new theme to start from scratch.

What I've found myself doing is creating a theme and then for one particular format or function, doing a test of that in that theme. Then create a different theme (can be the same theme choice, just a new version of the first) to focus on a different aspect or function. I'm using them as training tools. Once I get one section looking good, I leave it alone and go on to another. In the end I'll come back and either choose one of saved themes, or start a new one, and re-add all the functions I've created, together. I see this will take more time but maybe it really won't. For one I'll become more proficient in editing, and two, if I mess up something to the point of murdering it, I won't jeopardize the other theme versions.

Results are in, by the way, the method I described of creating different themes for testing, was too time consuming. I ended up sticking with one and just fixing it. I don't want to have to customize more than once.
