No "Edit" icon for Editing Dgrin Signature - How to Edit ?

I need to edit my signature here, and every other part of my profile has a pencil icon by it when I click on my name, so that I'm able to edit it. But my signature has no pencil icon, and I cannot find any other way to edit it. Is it missing right now, or is there some other place to go to edit signatures? Thanks.

I don't see a pencil icon in my sig dialog, or any other part of my profile area. What browser are you using? I should note that we have disabled many of the font options now (bold, sizes, color, etc.) now, so that might be a problem with the edit in your dialog. I notice you currently have bold activated in your current sig.

In the past, I just placed my cursor inside the dialog text and typed the changes and hit "save."

If you are still having trouble editing it, you can PM me and I can get it done for you.

I'm on FF. There's an "edit your profile" button, which brings up pencil icons beside the other items such as "gear", etc. but it doesn't make any way to edit the siggy. No icon, & no way to "get into" the box. I know a lot of stuff was disabled. Oddly, I edited mine after that; Idk why I was still able to have bold. It just kept it from what I had, I guess. Well, if I or you still can't see any way to do it, I'll let you know what I want changed. I have both sites, annalisa.smugmug.com as well as winsomeworks.com in my sig & evidently I shouldn't. But don't change it yet; I'd like to replace it with another site instead like my FAA site or something & I'll need to get the exact URL first. Thanks!

Haha! Oh my words, David-- I never even took note of that whole entire more obvious list. I guess it's yet another case of "too many ways to do one thing"-- at least when you're the kind of thinker I am, or due to the way I approach a computer or whatever, idk.... Anyway, the way I was getting to an "Edit Profile" section was by clicking on my name up top there beside the "my threads" icon or whatever that is. If you click on your name, that's where you see that other section which doesn't have a way to edit signature (although I believe it did, once upon a time.) But yes, the one you pointed me to should work fine I think.

One last question: I think I'd like to use a different (but hopefully somehow related) name here in the forums because otherwise all this forum stuff, because it's using a lot of photography-related words, gets all mixed in w/ links to my actual work & feels like too much "litter". I didn't know I could change it, but saw someone else ask to have their forum name changed, & a Mod or someone was able to do that easily, evidently. So once I think up a related name, is it OK to post back here & let you know to change it or do I need to speak w/ someone else?

We can change your user name here. Let us know what you'd like it to be, either here or through a PM. All your previous posts will remain intact.
