Home Page Photo Settings

Since a photo on the home page comes from a gallery, is it possible for it to have different settings than the gallery settings. e.g. the gallery is not right click protected because it is password protected and I would like the photo on the home page right click protected.

The photo inherits the properties from the gallery in which it is contained.

If you want different settings you might consider pulling your homepage photos from a gallery that has the settings you want.

You should be aware that right click protection doesn't protect your photos; it is easily bypassed. From the help page at http://help.smugmug.com/customer/portal/articles/93274#protection:

FYI: Right-click protection is a deterrent for image theft but it should not be considered fool-proof. To truly protect your images, lock galleries with a password or apply a watermark and disable your originals.

If I do that can I link from that photo to a gallery other than the one where it came from?
