Horizontal Scroll Bar

Hi folks, I'm not new to the site but have just been lurking for a while absorbing all your great advice.

I am having an issue that I can't find through search results. Applying the 'stretchy' layout creates some dead space of to right which introduces a horizontal scroll bar. Unfortunately, I haven't unveiled yet so I can't post a link, however this might help:

- this occurs even on browser width of 1440px
- checked via webdev and no elements are larger than this (biggest is logo at 1100px wide)
- occurs on a page with Smugmug-only content i.e galleries block.
- problem disappears when I set a fixed-width layout i.e. 960px.

This seems to narrow it down to the stretchy layout option. Anyone had this problem or know what is causing it?

Ok, apologies...I didn't look very far. I had used position:relative to move my navbar, which had extended it over the page container.

Need to just find a way to fine tune the position of the nav without pushing outside the container.

then play with margins
