Backlinks Location

Hi There,

I do not yet have a Blog. Is there a particular location on my site that I should put backlinks?
I figure what I'd do, either on my home page or another page that can be navigated to via a nav button click - perhaps labeled, "Resources", "Information", is to write a brief blurb about the other company I am associated with or work with, or am a fan of, etc, and, include somewhere in that blurb, the web site to that company, organization, etc? AM I on the right track here?

I would create a page for this and add a html box with all your info.

Go to organizer and highlight your name top left
above it click "create" > page
find the new page at the bottom of all the right thumbs and double click it
click done top right
now on the page click customize > customize site.
"Just this page" should be highlighted in flyout on right
click "HTML & CSS" at bottom to expand it
drag a html box out to the page.
This box will allow you to add text, links or whatever you want.
