Hi, I was wondering if anybody else was having this problem or is it something gone wrong somewhere with my site.
On the Folders page in the Folders block when i click on the wrench the only setting i can seem to get the folders to open to their sub folders is the "Current Location" selection, none of the others work. If you could try this out on your sites that be great.
Thanks,
joseph

    Hi Michael,
Im slowly understanding now what the All Folders means and how if you select certain folders to appear it will appear on every folder page. My problem with understanding this, and i think a lot of other people have as well, is when i was trying to customize the Browse page this seems to default to the All Folders setting so i found it very difficult to understand what i was doing wrong. I still dont really know how you can actually customize the Browse page without this happening, but somehow, and im still not quite sure how i did it, i was able to get the travel sub folders to appear on the travel page and the landscape subfolders to appear on the landscape page. What would have been the best way to achieve this and im still finding it hard to actually navigate to these pages when im trying to customize them. What way did you set up your separate pages like "Portfolio" and "The Giving Lens".
    Thanks again,
    Joseph

    Heya Joseph,

For my links, I set the Navigation Menu item "Portfolio" to point to a folder I created, called "Portfolio". In that folder, I have a number of galleries (Scenery, Across the Universe, etc).

Once I set up the navigation menu "Portfolio", i clicked into that folder page, and clicked customize--->Just This Folder. I then dropped a "Galleries" Content Block, which I then set to pull from "Current Location". It then displays all the galleries in the "Portfolio" folder.

I did the same thing with "The Giving Lens"

    I hope this helps!

When you first migrate the only "folders" you have are the legacy categories and sub-cats. When you use /browse
you'll see all these top level folders (categories). To create a new top level folder {legacy category} go to organizer,
highlight your name top left, click "create" above > "folder". Scroll to the bottom on the left list and double click the
new folder, click done in upper right.

Now that you're in this new folder it will be blank. Click "customize" "customize site". On the upper right in the flyout you'll
see "entire site", ""homepage, "all Folders", "all galleries". Under "all Folders" you'll see "+ Make this folder custom".
