I came across a new old stock Nikon SB-21B macro flash unit, so I spent an afternoon photographing little things at a local park.

Nikon 85mm f3.5G DX (covers full frame at higher magnifications)
Nikon SB-21B flash

Overall I like it, and it's very compact. It is a TTL flash, but only with analog cameras. But it has a good flash guide built into the top of the flash controller.
