I bought it new locally and it is a fantastic lens. That said, I find that I use my 24-70 & 70-200 almost all of the time and I am cleaning off my shelf.
The lens is a zero adjustment, super sharp copy on my D600 & D7100. It is a US version (of course) in the box with everything that came with it (hood, caps, bag) and all of the paperwork.
